Fruits

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge with righteous judgment” (John 7:24)

Not trusting in man (as the Bible commands) means we cannot take any person at their word nor based on their physical appearance alone, especially in these last days

Harsh? Some might say

But biblical? Indeed

We must realize that many lying and deceiving spirits have gone forth; and many have “crept in unawares,” as Jude said (1:4), turing the grace of God into lasciviousness

This becomes more evident with each passing day— hence we must righteously judge by the fruit, for by one’s fruit we shall know them

The fruit of the Spirit is faith, love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, humbleness, and self-control (Gal. 5:22-23)

Pray for discernment

Exhort one another

Contend for the faith

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruits, without doubting, without hypocrisy” (James 3:17)
