Protection

Noah wasn’t removed from the earth, but he was protected from Gods judgement (Noah and his family were “sealed” inside the Ark)

Lot wasnt removed from the earth, but was kept from the fiery destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah

Shadrach, Mesach, and Abebnego weren’t kept from the fire, but were kept from being engulfed in flames

Daniel wasn’t removed from the lions den, but was kept from the lions

The Children of Israel were enslaved in Egypt, but were kept from the various plagues and pestilences God sent throughout the land as judgement upon Pharaoh

Scripture is clear, “we are not appointed to wrath” (1 Thess. 5:9), but the scripture is also clear in that our faith will be tested and “tried with fire” (1 Peter 1:7)

The future will likely hold a massive testing period of faith for all of us, just as it was for Noah, Daniel, and many other figures of faith

In the midst of their trials, they looked to the Lord for help and held firm in their faith, thus the Lord kept them from harm. We must do likewise!
